BATALA: CIA staff has recovered three pistols and five cartridges from a youth near Sangat pur village under Kalanaur police station early this this morning.

According to police, on getting a specific information a police party led by Ashok Kumar in charge CIA staff has laid a naka near Sangat pur village where a motorcyclist was signaled to stop but he managed to escape after leaving behind the consignment which included 3 pistols 315 bore and 5 live cartridges. Later he was identified as Sukhwinder Singh, a resident of Raja Dina nath village and a case under Arms and ammunition was registered against him who was still absconding.
