Beautiful life needs beautiful mind: Nirankari Baba
##ad_1##NEW DELHI: To make life beautiful we need a beautiful mind. If the mind is pure, sound and healthy, life automatically becomes pleasant and blissful. Mind controls the body thus guides our actions and it is our behaviour that brings us praise or slander.
This was stated here late last evening by Baba Hardev Singh, Head of the Sant Nirankari Mission, while addressing the second day open session of the on-going 63rd Annual Nirankari Sant Samagam.
The 3-day Samagam that began on Saturday is being attended by lakhs of devotees and other God-loving people from all over India and abroad.
Baba Hardev Singh said that every word of saints, Gurus and prophets and holy scriptures has been addressed to the Mind. It works like a steering in the vehicle. It is the mind which may make you wonder in wilderness or reach the destination safely. Once mind understands the right path, one is certainly going to achieve the goal, reach the destination.
All spiritual masters in the past and the saints at present, therefore, advise man to enlighten the mind with Truth or God-Knowledge. Divine light will remove the darkness of ignorance. This ends our delusions and we stand liberated from all kinds of bondages. An enlightened mind lends beauty to our actions which make us happy here and thereafter. Our soul gets salvaged from the cycle of birth and death and we lead life blissfully.
##ad_2##Baba Hardev Singh said that saints have always guided the human mind not only by words but with actions also. They presented beautiful examples through their practical life. Had human mind understood and followed them, this earth would have turned into a paradise long back. An enlightened mind, he said, does establishe love instead of hatred, tolerance instead of intolerance, selfless service and cooperation instead of greed and selfishness. And all this makes life virtuous and blissful.
He said that it is because of mind that man wants everything good for himself but he is not prepared to allow the same right unto others. Baba reminded all that we should do unto others what we want others to do unto us. If we want that others should not hurt or harm us, we will have to stop hurting and harming others. We will have to rise above selfishness and serve others selflessly.
Nirankari Exhibition and Publication stalls have continued to attract the devotees constantly. The Exhibition will remain open even after the Samagam i.e. upto Thurseday.
