CHANDIGARH; The Shiromani Akali Dal(SAD) led by Parkash Singh Badal and Sikh leaders of Haryana would on August 30 hold parallel rallies on the issue of formation of separate Shiromani Gurdawara Parbhandak Committee(SGPC).

CHANDIGARH: The allegations of the Core Committee of Political Affairs Committee of the Shiromani Akali Dal holding Smt. Sonia Gandhi responsible for cropping up the issue of separate   SGPC in Haryana, one hand and the statement of SGPC President  Avtar Singh Makkar over the assurance given by the Prime Minister to effectively intervene to sort out the issue of creation of Haryana SGPC on the other hand  is paradoxical.

LUDHIANA: 43 trucks loaded with relief material including eatable items, tarpaulins and fodder arranged by district units of Youth Akali Dal (YAD) Ludhiana Urban and Ludhiana Rural have been dispatched for  the distribution  among the flood affected families in Ferozepur and Moga districts today.
