CHANDIGARH: Taking a cue from the recent directive of the Maharashtra government ordering its industries to give 80 percent of the jobs in the manufacturing units to 'locals' on priority basis, the Dal Khalsa asked the Punjab government to formulate laws to ensure that at least 70 percent of all jobs are reserved for Punjabis in the state in the public and the private sector.
