LUDHIANA: Late Lala Jagat Narayan former Chief Editor Hind Samachar Group of newspapers, who was assassinated by terrorists was remembered at a function organized to observe his 27th Shaheedi Diwas  by people for Orphan Organisation and Bhagwan Parsu Ram Sewak Sangh at his Samark near Ladhowal Sunday.

AMRITSAR: Indian border security Force (BSF) recovered huge cache of dreaded weapons on Indo-Pak border last mid night after the brief encounter with the Pakistan based intruders at village Kalash in Tarn Taran district nearly 40 kilometers away from Amritsar.

AMRITSAR: Pakistani Smugglers fired gun shots from Pakistani side on Indian Border Security Force (BSF) last midnight when they were supplying contrabands to Indian smugglers. Incident occurred at village Rajatal near Attari border.

PHAGWARA: The Phillaur Police  Sunday succeeded to arrest six persons including one middle aged married woman Banso, her young son and his four other friends on the charging of murdering a villager Dev Raj, a lover of Banso, due to contineous interfering in her illicit relations with others also.
