CHANDIGARH:  The Punjab Chief Minister  Parkash Singh Badal Wednesday asked his cabinet colleagues to refrain from issuing 'irresponsible statements which contradict the declared party and government line and create confusion on the government  commitment to the cause of the people.

CHANDIGARH: Cotton prices in Punjab have declined by Rs 100-150 per quintal on account of increased arrival of the crop and low procurement by spinning mills.
