CHANDIGRARH: The Indian Medical Association (IMA) state branches of Chandigarh and Punjab thanked the Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal for taking considerate view of the medical fraternity for passing a bill in the State Assembly for assault on doctors here on Saturday. Both the branches of IMA welcomed the decision of the Punjab Government in this regard.

Arguments to frame charges in murder case beginram rahim
AMBALA: The CBI court Saturday framed charges against dera saccha sauda chief , Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh in sexual assult of dera sadhvies case here.  Special Judge of CBI, A K Verma while pronouncing the order read out the charges in the presence of dera chief. Whereas Dera chief however refuted the charges .The next hearing in this case is fixed for October 4.

PATIALA: The Bhartiya Janta Party and its parent organization Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has once again became active in Punjab by reappointing its representative Rulda Singh as the state chief of Rashtriya Sikh Sangat. Akal Takht has declared Rashtriya Sikh Sangat, anti-Sikh organisation.
