AMRITSAR: Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi here on Tuesday categorically denounced the Operation Blue Star conducted by Indian army in Golden Temple in 1984 describing that, "It was absolutely wrong." He also wanted that people involved in 1984 riots should be brought to book.

AMRITSAR: In a polite riposte to Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Rajnath Singh who called him a 'bachcha' (child), Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday said he should keep in mind that 70 percent of people in the country were young like him.

CHANDIGARH: Punjab government was committed to provide equal opportunities with disabilities to enable them to lead a life of Independence & dignity and for this purpose Punjab government was giving Rs. 250/- per month per person as financial assistance to 102074 disabled persons in the state who were having at least 50 percent disability.
