SHIMLA: State Government would be exploring the possibilities of amending the prevailing Route Permit Act by decentralizing the permit issuing procedure and liberalize the same for the convenience of the residents of Shimla town. This was revealed by Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal, Chief Minister in a meeting held here today to review the sealed and restricted road permits under the provisions of the Act in force in the town.
