DHARAMSHALA: The US Senate passed a resolution  calling for earnest negotiations between the representatives of His Holiness the Dalai and the Chinese government for a mutually agreeable solution that addresses the legitimate grievances of the Tibetan people.

NEVADA(USA): Ottawa Mayor Larry O’Brien, in a communiqué to Gandhi Monument Council (GMC) headed by Rajan Zed and Right Reverend Gene Savoy Jr., informed, “Ottawa City Council just passed a resolution that I fully supported to raise a statue of Gandhi in a downtown Park near the Ottawa River.”
