CHANDIGARH,:The Punjab Governor and Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh, Gen. (Retd.) S.F. Rodrigues,  honoured  Manjeet Singh, a civilian Rower from Chandigarh who represented India in the Beijing Olympics – 2008, at a brief ceremony at Punjab Raj Bhavan, here today.

SIRSA (Haryana): Lahore-based cricketer Mohd Khalil, may seen in action in the Indian Premier League this year. Former Pakistan Test cricketer Khalil is a member of the Lahore Lions squad which is competing in the ongoing inaugural Jannayak Ch Devi Lal International Twenty-20 Cricket Tournament being conducted at the CDL National Cricket Academy here.

SIRSA:  An entertaining strokeful knock of 62 by Faisal Javed and his 80-run undefeated fourth wicket partnership with Khakan Arsal (26) helped Lahore Lions of Pakistan storm into the semi-final from group A of the first Jannayak Ch Devi  Lal International Twenty20 Cricket Tournament at the JCD National Cricket Academy Stadium here on Wednesday night.
