Haryana govt condemn blast inSamjhauta Express

CHANDIGARH: The Haryana Cabinet, which met under the chairmanship of Chief Minister, Mr.Bhupinder Singh Hooda here Tuesdy passed a resolution expressing its deep shock and dismay at the tragic incident which took place in 'Samjhauta Express' train near Panipat.



A two minutes silence was also observed to pay homage to all those who lost their lives in the tragic incident.

The resolution states, "We severely condemn the prepetrators of senseless crime against innocent persons and resolve to fight and end terrorism at all levels. We express our heart-felt condolences to the families of the deceased and wish for early recovery of the injured.

"We hope that such acts of the frustrated terrorists will have no effect on the ongoing process of friendship between the two countries. We also hope that this incident will further strengthen the resolve of both the nations to establish everlasting peace in the sub-continent.

"We appreciate the prompt and compassionate efforts of the villagers of village Siwah who worked whole heartedly and tirelessly to help the victims and looked after the passengers. We put on record our appreciation of the State, district administration and the Indian Railways for taking every possible step to provide medical and other relief to the affected passengers."
