By Jagmohan SinghAMRITSAR: Indian Custom Department posted at the international Attari Railway station here Saturday evening seized 5 kilogram heroin having worth Rs. 25 crore as per the international black market which was smuggled from Pakistan through the goods train to India.
Confirming the drug seizure at the Railway Station, Custom official said that when Goods train arrived to India from Pakistan at Attari Railway station, wherein five kilogram heroin was seized during rummaging of the train.
Official said that drug was seized in the cement rack as it was concealed under the cement bags. It came in light on random basis checking, otherwise to check each bag of the cement was not possible since thousands of cement bags are imported from Pakistan on routine basis.
