FEROZEPUR: The Guruharsahai police station has registered a cheating case against nine persons including patwari in the case of further sale of joint land by changing the numbers in the revenue record.
ASI Atma Singh informed that as per the statement of the complainant Premjit Singh resident of Guruharsahai given to the police, he has alleged that the joint land has further been sold to Arvinderjit Singh and others, by changing the land numbers in the revenue record, in connivance with Daulat Ram, Patwari.
He further stated that on the comapaint of Premjit Singh, the Guruharsahai police station has registered a case against Arvinderjit Singh, Daulat Ram, patwari, Sarwan Kumar, uran Chand, Ashok Kumar of Chak Kathgarh, Fouja Singh, Chamkaur Singh, Pala Singh and Balbir Singh on account of cheating and conspiracy in planning. No arrest has been made in this case so far and police is investigating into the case.
