PUNJAB: Remove encroachments from link roads in district

NAWANSHAHR: The district administration here has launched a special drive to remove encroachments from link roads and berms in the district.

As per DC Nilkanth Avhad, the special committees constituted for the purpose had so far removed encroachments from around 634 km of link roads in the district. The encroachments on the remaining link roads would be removed soon, he added. Meanwhile, the Balachaur administration on Friday removed encroachments from the link road to Majra Jattan village with the help of JCB machines. Senior officials of Mandi Board and revenue department were present.
