FATEHGARH SAHIB:  The Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee president Paramjit Singh Sarna today demanded from Akal Takht Jathedar to summon Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee president Avtar Singh Makkar on Akal Takht.

Talking to this correspondent over phone Sarna said that stern disciplinary action should be taken against Makkar allegedly for making blasphemous statements about Guru Nanak Dev .

He said that SGPC had published controversial book regarding Sikh history so stern action should be taken against Makkar.

Sarna accused the SGPC chief of getting published a book which claimed Nanak Dev's guru was a Muslim. Besides, the book, according to the DSGMC, also had articles casting aspersions on the revered Akal Takht. Since the articles about the Akal Takht were unprovoked the SGPC chief had ulterior motives to serve alleged Sarna.

Demanding removal of Avtar Singh, the DSGMC chief alleged that Avtar Singh was suffering from a ''Brahminical mindset''.   He said that DSGMC is collecting religious and historical books published by the SGPC so that blunder committed by the SGPC could be brought to notice of people.
