Suicide by Punjab student for not being able to do well in exam

##ad_1##BATALA: A second-year student of BCA at Gian Sagar College, Kalanaur allegedly committed suicide Monday night. 

Sukhpreet Kaur daughter of Kulwinder Singh resident of village Chandunangal, ended her life owing to the stress and pressure of not been able to perform upto her satisfaction in one of her exams. She was reportedly under mental agony from last few days.

Sukhpreet's father told that she jumped into the Apparbari Doab Canal from the Kunjra bridge. He also told that Sukhpreet, before committing suicide, called her parents at around 1:40 a.m. and told them everything she intended to do, switching off her mobile phone after making the call.

Panic struck the family members who immediately went out in search of Sukhpreet in the aforesaid location. Sukhpreet's body was not found however, her cycle and dupatta were found from a bridge of  village Kila Lal Singh, 4 km from here.

Police reached the incident spot and search for Sukhpreet's body is going on.
