DHARMSHALA: Sarveen Chaudhary, Social Justice and Empowerment Minister paid surprise visit to CDPO Office, Chowari in Chamba district Saturday.

During inspection of the office a clerk was found absent. Taking serious action the Minister has ordered to place the clerk under suspension. At the same time, the Minister issued warning to the employees of the office for not marking their attendence in the attendence register.

She called upon the officials to ensure strict punctuality in the office in future failing which stringent disciplinary action would be initiated against those found guilty.

Chaudhary further said that the State Government was committed to bring about transparency and efficiency in the administration. She said that any dereliction and laxity in discharging of their duties would be viewed seriously.
