BANGLORE: Six senior members of Manipuri militant outfit, People's United Liberation Front, including its top leader MI Khan, have been nabbed in Karnataka, official sources said on Monday.

As per the information a police team led by Imphal East district Superintendent of Police Radheshyam with the help of Karnataka Police nabbed the militants from a hotel in Mysore city.

Manipur Police sought the cooperation of Karnataka Police after receiving reports that the militants were trying to hold a meeting in a hotel to chalk out strategies to intensify their activities in the north eastern state.

The militants were identified as PULF general secretary MI Khan, secretary external affairs MD Nurjaman, publicity secretary Md Abdul Jabar, deputy commander in chief Md Nasir Khan, Md Mustafa and Md Nursafi.
