Punjab to give reservation to Tsunami, Cancer, Aids victims in medical colleges

CHANDIGARH: The Punjab Government Tuesday decided that Tsunami/Cancer/AIDS Victims would be provided 1% reservation in admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS/BHMS courses in Medical, Dental, Ayurvedic and Homeopathic Institutes in the state.

 



While giving this information an official spokesman said that admission in the case of AIDS victims would be subject to clearance/advice by special Medical Board constituted by the State government.
