CHANDIGARH: Legal Literacy Camps are being held by Haryana State Legal Services Authority (HALSA) in various villages and towns of the State of Haryana from April 1 to June 30, 2008 so that people residing in remote rural areas and urban slums may be made aware of the legal proceedings.

While giving details here Tuesday, a spokesman of the HALSA said that the Legal Literacy Camps were being held in various villages of district Ambala, Fatehabad, Gurgaon, Hisar, Jind, Jhajjar, Karnal, Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Narnaul, Panchkula, Panipat, Rewari, Rohtak, Sonipat, Sirsa and Yamunanagar from April 6 to June 29.

He informed that the camps were also being held in the various villages of districts Bhiwani and Faridabad from April 6 to June 22 and April 6 to May 25 respectively. He said that a seminar was being held in district jail, Narnaul on April 11 and 25, May 9 and 23, June 13 and 27.

Similarly, the camps are also being held in the villages falling under the jurisdiction of various sub-divisions included Charkhi-Dadri from April 5 to June 28, in Siwani from April 5 to June 29, in Palwal from April 6 to June 27, in Ferozepur Zhirka from April 6 to June 8, in Hansi from April  26 to June 7, in Narwana from April 6 to June 29, in Safidon from April 20 to June 29, in Assandh from April 6 to June 8, in Pehowa from April 6 to June 29, in Gulha from April 6 to June 29, in Mahendergarh April 6 to June 29, in Kosli from April 6 to June 29, in Meham from April 26 to June 8, in Ganaur from April 20 to June 8, in Gohana from April 27 to June 5. The Legal Literacy Camps were also being held in Mohalla Kharkhari, Narnaul under (LLUP) on April 20, May 18 and June 15, he added.
