CHANDIGARH: Chandigarh Tourism in association with Chandigarh Golf Club and the Chandigarh Golf Association would promote Night Golf in Chandigarh. 

Meetings in this regard have been held with D.S. Bains, President, Golf Club and C.S. R. Reddy, President, Chandigarh Golf Association.

Since, Chandigarh is already becoming a favoured destination for Golf Tourism, Night Golf is the ideal option available for tourists to enjoy a game of Golf after sight seeing during the day time.

D.S. Bains stated that Chandigarh Golf Club would welcome maximum number of tourists from all parts of the world to Chandigarh for planning Golf. He said that normal course fee would be charged from tourists for this purpose.  A long term tie up with hotels in Chandigarh and with Chandigarh Tourism has been planned for this purpose.

Chandigarh Tourism is already promoting Chandigarh as a Sports Tourism destination and significant interest has been generated among the tourism community after the organization of a number of Golf Tourism events in the past two years in the city beautiful.

Weekend packages are also being worked out for this purpose.
