PATIALA: Former chief minister Capt. Amarinder Singh did not attend Amritsar rally organized by Punjab Pardesh Congress Committee (PPCC) in connection with by-election on Sunday.

 

Sources close to new Moti Bagh Palace said that Capt. Singh was in city Sunday.

Where as his close confident MLAs and the president of Punjab Youth Congress Vijay Inder Singla have attended the Amritsar rally.

Meanwhile Punjab congress sources said that party has taken strong note of the visit of Capt. Amarinder Singh to Nabha Saturday without informing local MLA Randeep Singh.
