CHANDIGARH: The Sports and Youth Affairs Department, Haryana will conduct Water Sports Adventure Basic Course for the youth of Haryana at Pong Dam (Himachal Pradesh) in May and June.

A spokesman of the Sports Department said that Water Sports and Adventure Basic Course for the youth of Rohtak-Hisar zone would be organised from May 18 to 31.

Rohtak-Hisar zone comprised 10 districts and  five youths from each district would attend the course. The participants were advised to report to the camp incharge at counter no. 39, general bus stand, Sector 17, Chandigarh at 11 a.m. on May 17, 2008, he added.

The spokesman said that another such course for the girls of Ambala-Gurgaon zone comprising 10 districts would be organised from June 1 to 14. As many as 50 girls (five from each district) would attend the course.

The participants of this course were advised to report to the Camp Incharge at counter no. 39, general bus stand, Sector 17, Chandigarh at 11 a.m. on May 30, he added.

The spokesman said that Ram Niwas Sharma, YCO, Hisar and Rekha Uba, YCO, Hisar had been made Incharge of the course for Rohtak-Hisar zone and Ambala-Gurgaon zone, respectively.
