AMRITSAR: The President of Punjab Youth Congress Vijay Inder Singla today came down heavily on Shiromani Akali Dal's hooliganism across Punjab resulting large scale violence which witnessed killing of three persons, leaving scores seriously injured.

In a press release issued here he said that Gundaism sponsored by SAD's president Sukhbir Singh Badal endorsed what the Congress party in Punjab had been alleging during the past 15 months of Akali rule – a complete break down of constitutional machinery and law and order in the State.

He said that attack on BJP workers and its MLA has proved that no one was safe in Punjab. If party men of ruling alliance partners were not safe what will be the position of Congress workers and common man in the state, he questioned.

It is chief minister Parkash Singh Badal who was responsible for violating the oath of constitution that he had taken to become CM, by becoming party to state sponsored violence.

He said that yesterday's violence has endorsed the views and allegations that the Congress has been making since the new govt. took over.  Yesterday's events were a mockery and farce enacted by the state Govt. in the name of democracy.  The police and administration played like tools in the hands of the Akali's.

Sukhbir Badal are solely responsible for these violent events in the state as is clearly evident from the occurrence of incidents related in the Chief Minister's own constituency.

He further said that BJP has been claiming party of principal and values and they should read written on the wall that their alliance partner has not spared them and break the dharma of partnership. BJP should not continue with SAD's government if they want to safe their face of moral values and principle, Singla said. 

Singla apprehended that If BJP will not withdraw the support form the Punjab Government they must be bargaining on this issue and were trying to befool the people of Punjab, 

Singla questioned why SAD's government has yet not registered cases against their own leaders and workers who were responsible for Gundaism and hooliganism.

He said that what happened yesterday is a glimpse of Sukhbir Badal's tyrannical, supercilious, feudal and cruel personality.
