CHANDIGARH: In view of the serial bomb-blast at Jaipur yesterday, a Red Alert has been declared in the State by Haryana Police and strict instructions have been issued to police personnel to keep a vigilant on unattended articles, unknown persons, public places such as bus-stands, railway stations, dharmsalas, hotels and also to be ready in case of any emergency. 

While giving the details, a spokesman of the Haryana Police said that Police had urged the general public that in case of any suspected object or person found in their locality, they should report the matter to nearest Police Station, immediately.

Meanwhile, Haryana Police has succeeded in arresting 15 criminals including a woman smuggler from district Kaithal and Fatehabad under its special drive campaign launched to weed out the criminals and anti-social elements from the society.

 While giving details here today, an official spokesman said that  the Police had recovered two pistols, seven live cartridge, one motor-cycle, property of worth Rs.65,000 and cash money of Rs.12,500  from their possession.

He said that under this special drive, the Police had already arrested 16 criminals in district Gurgaon and Faridabad and 47 criminals in district Fatehabad.
