AMRITSAR: Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) takes strong exception to the remarks of Parkash Singh Badal and Sukhbir Badal calling the mass resignation of congress MLA’s as stunt, showmanship and political gimmickry.
PPCC spokes person Bir Davinder said here today that the mass resignations of congress MLA’s reflect their determination and resolve to fight for the freedom and democratic rights of the people and for grave injuries suffered by the congress workers in every village and nook and corner of the state. A strong message has already gone that congress MLA’s can sacrifice any thing to protect their workers and to fight against the era of the family dictatorship ushered in by ‘Badals’. The resignations of the congress MLA’s are certainly not a sign of weakness and unwillingness to fight as interoperated by Capt. Amarinder Singh, but a symbols of strength and most vocal protest against injustice, said Bir Davinder.
