FATEHGARH SAHIB: The Sirhind, Mulepur and Khamano police has registered three separate cases against three drivers under various sections of the IPC.
A case was registered by Sirhind police on the statement of Pardeep Singh, a resident of Kathayava (Jammu and Kashmir) against a bus driver Jagjit Singh. As per the statement, the bus two a scooter near village Tarkhan Majra and injured Raju, a resident of village Sakhmirwala(Sunam), Pawan Kumar, a resident of Guru Teg Bahadur Nager, Mansa. Another case was registered by Mulepur police against unidentified driver of a canter. The case was registered on the statement of Sewa Singh, a resident of village Ghail. As per the compliant, he along with his grandson Dilpreet Singh and grand daughter Kiranjit Kaur was on their way to village Ghail and when their tractor reached near village Rajindergarh it was hit by a canter and the canter driver ran away. Both these case was registered against the drivers under sections 279,337,427 of the IPC. In yet another case, the Khamano police has registered a case against driver of a tractor trolley under section 283 of the IPC against. The case was registered against Ganga Singh of village Bhatia near Khanna on the charge of causing obstruction on a public way by an overloaded tractor-trolley near village Loharmajra. The accused was later released on bail. The vehicle was overloaded by cattle feed.
