Missing newly married woman found in nursing home at Ambala Cant Print E-mail

FATEHGARH SAHIB: A newly married woman , who was missing under mysterious circumstances from her in-laws house at Mandi Gobindgarh on Tuesday  was found  in a private nursing home at Ambala Cant of Haryana.

The woman Simriti, had  left a suicide note. After recovery of the suicide note, the girl parents  alleged that in-laws of Simrti hatched an conspiracy to eliminate her. When Simrti parents came to know that their daughter is at Ambala they  immediately went there and taken here and admitted at Civil Hospital,  Mandi Gobindgarh.

Simrti told the media persons that he was married with Gagan Bansal of  Mandi Gobindgarh and alleged that her in-laws used to harass her to  bring dowry so she had written a suicide note. She said that she had  consumed heavy quantity of tablets in bathroom of her house. After some time  she vomited and fell unconscious. She only felt that someone had  changed her clothes but she does not know how she reached at Ambala Cant and  who had taken her at nursing home at Ambala and spent night there. She  said that when nurses at nursing home asked about her whereabouts she  was not in position to tell her whereabouts at that time and when he  gained conscious she immediately  telephone to his brother from a near by  PCO.

When the parents of Simrti got wind of the suicide note lying at Simrti's  in-laws house in which she mentioned that she was committing  suicide , they immediately reached there and was adamant to meet Simrti. They  also informed Mandi Gobindgarh police which has taken Simrti mother in  law Maya, father- in- law Surinder, brother- in -law Rakesh to police  station . Simriti parents alleged that their daughter was eliminated by  her in-laws. Simrti brother Ashok Garg, a resident of Model Town
 extension termed the suicide note as forged at police station.

Simrti was married to Gagan Bansal on March 9 and Ashok said that they  had spend around Rs 10 lakh on the Simrti marriage and also given cash  of Rs 2 lakh to her in-laws but they even used to harass her. He even  alleged that they had given Rs 8.21 lakh to her sister in laws last  month and with this money a car was purchased by Simrti's brother in law  Ramesh. Even then had harassed Simrti.  Simrti had spent a month at her parents house in Ludhiana to appear  in her graduate exams.     

Simriti mother in law Maya said that Simrti was suddenly disappeared  from the house and this information was passed to her parents.  Sources said now efforts are being made between both the parties for  compromise. When contacted Mandi Gobindgarh SHO Sukhjit Virk he said that  the police is verifying the facts. He said the police still had not  registered any case.
