Bullet marks in Golden Temple to be preserved: SGPC |

AMRITSAR: Shriomani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) President Avtar Singh Makkar said Thursday that the “Bullet marks during the period of infamous operation Blue Star would be preserved and maintained in the premises of Harmandhar Sahib (Golden Temple).
Makkar said that during the operation Blue Star in June 1984 when Indian Army attacked on holy Golden Temple, at that time numerous Gun shots were fired by the Indian Army which hit on the different locations of the Golden Temple, which were still existing and would be maintained in future too to remember the brutality of Government of India. Makkar said these Bullets marks would tell the coming generation of Sikh Community about the black deeds of Indian Government has how it has killed the innocent Sikhs devotees during the army Action in 1984.
