CHANDIGARH: Rajinder Kaur Bhattal, President Punjab Pradesh Congress has expressed sense of deep sorrow and grief over the most sad and sudden death of veteran Statesman and former Speaker Dr. Kewal Krishan Monday after a massive heart attack.

Describing him an elderly statesman, a seasoned parliamentarian and an honest Congressman who adhered to the Gandhian philosophy of life till his last breath. During his tenure as Speaker of Punjab Vidhan Sabha and as Finance Minister he left an indelible imprint on the sands of time.

Congress leaders – Chief Spokesman S. Bir Devinder Singh, Former Minister S. Jagmohan Singh Kang and S. Raj Pal Singh General secretary Punjab Congress have also conveyed their grief  condolences to the bereaved family and paid tributes to Dr. Kewal Krishan.
