CHANDIGARH: A brace each by Corporal Ravi and LAC Poli Admin Group beat Engine Group by 4-0 in the inaugural football match of the Inter Group Sports Meet of 3 BRD (Base Repair Depot) Air Force at the Chandigarh Air Force Station here.

Group Captain Jose Varoo, Chief of Engines, 3 BRD. declared the meet open. Speaking on the occastiion Group Captain Varoo exhorted the sportspersons to improve their physical standards and play the matches with sportsman sprit. Four teams, Aircraft Group, Planning Group, Engine Group and Admin Group are participating in the event. All matches would be played on league basis. The meet aims at spotting talent in football, hockey, cricket, volleyball, basketball and shooting for participation in selection trials for the Maintenance Command team.
