PATIALA: Navjot kaur the wife of Navjot Singh Sidhu former cricketer and BJP MP from Amritsar Saturday allegedly attempted to commit suicide at her residence in Patiala. She has been admitted in Intensive care unit in Sadbhavna medical and heart hospital here. The doctors however said it is a case of food poisoning.

Navjot Singh Sidhu who was in Amritsar rushed to Patiala and visited her wife in the hospital but he refused to talk to media. It is learnt that Navjot Kaur a MBBS doctor posted in a government hospital in Patiala was under dipression for quite some time and was taking anti depression drugs. Dr.Sudhir Verma, doctor attending on her howewer claimed that it was case of food poisioning and she is being treated for it.

The report of alleged attempt of suicide by Sidhu's wife has sent shock waves among family members and friends if Sidhu family. The relatives of Navjot Kaur are camping in the hospital. Sidhu however wnet back after meeting the doctors.
