FATEHGARH SAHIB: Four car-borne youth were killed in  road mishap near A.S.College, Khanna on  Samrala Road  on Saturday in Khanna police district of Punjab.

 

Three  boys were killed on spot while one succumbed to his injuries at hospital  during treatment.  The bodies of all four youths have been handed over to the relatives of  the deceased after conducting post mortem examination. 

As per reports, a tanker was parked on the road when a Ford Fiesta  rammed in the tanker. After the mishap, the tanker driver fled from the  scene. The Khanna police has registered a case against unidentified driver  of the tanker.

Four youths Sohit Kumar (19), Simranjit Singh (18), Devinder Singh (19)  and Amanpreet Singh (18), all college students were returning to  Samrala. The car was driven was Sohit Kumar , who along with his friends had  come to see newly born daughter of his friend  who  was admitted in a private  hospital in Khanna. When their speedy Ford Fiesta reached near A.S. College, it rammed in  the tanker.Sohit Kumar, Simranjit Singh, Devinder Singh was killed on  spot while Amanpreet Singh was admitted in hospital, where he succumbed  to his injuries.

Sohit Kumar father had gone abroad. Pall of gloom descended at   Samrala town when the news of death of  four youths reached there.
