CHANDIGARH: Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has invited application to fill up 612 posts in different departments in the state.

While giving this information here today, a spokesman of the HSSC said that out of these, 189 posts were to be filled up in Police Department. Similarly, 400 posts in Development and Panchayats Department, 19 in Sports and Youth Affairs, two each in Food and Supplies and Public Relations and Cultural Affairs Departments. He said that the last date for receipt of the application form complete in all respect would be August 21, 2008. The application form would only be accepted by registered post, he added.

Enumerating the detail, he said that 20 posts of Inspectors (Male), two of Inspectors (Female), 151 posts of Sub-Inspectors (Male) and 16 of Sub-Inspectors (Female) in Police Department. Likewise, 19 post of Junior Coaches in different disciplines in Sports and Youth Affairs Department, two posts of Inspectors in Food and Supplies Department, 400 posts of Gram Sachivs in Development and Panchayats Department, one post of Carpenter and one of Master Harmonium Player in Public Relations and Cultural Affairs Department were to be filled up.
