FATEHGARH SAHIB: Dr. S.P. Singh, a renowned academician of the region took over as the  director of the RIMT-Institute of Management and Computer Technology,  Mandi Gobindgarh. 

Earlier he was Director at Sri Baba Mast Nath  Institute of Management Studies and Research, Asthal Bhor near Rohtak.

A post graduate in Commerce and has got four decades of rich experience  of teaching graduate and post-graduate classes. He did his Ph. D. on  'Working Capital in Haryana Public Sector Undertaking'. He has  supervised 5 Ph. D. students and 17 M. Phil. candidates. He has also to his  credit five books on accounts and cost accounting. He has also attended  numerous national level seminars and conferences. He was instrumental  in starting MBA Programme in S.A. Jain College, Ambala.

Hukam Chand Bansal, the chairman of the RIMT Group congratulated Dr.  Singh and hoped that his joining would strengthen the academics of the  institute.
