An old lady abandoned by rich sons found with hip fracture in Anandpur Sahib Gurdwara

FinnoANANDPUR SAHIB: A woman identified as 'Finno' a land lady from Batala in Gurdaspur district of Punjab, mother of two millionari sons, one in USA, was Friday found abandoned crying in severe pain due to hip fracture near Gurdwara Takht Kesgarh Sahib here.



'Finno' aged 80 years belongs to a reputed family of Batala and she owns agriculture land worth crores of rupees. Her sons had grabbed her land, she reportedly told the locals.

According to the information one of her sons lives in Batala and second is living in USA and her grand son Tarsen Singh is an Inspector in Punjab Police, presently working in CID department at Ajnala in Amritsar district.

She was located by members of a NOG 'Helpline' which has taken responsibility of her care. Rajinder Kaur a member of Helpline said that it was second time that 'Finno' was thrown out from her home. Once she was found lying unconscience at Jalandhar railway station. The helpline members took her to hospital at that time and her stories of her plight had also appeared in nesspapers.

The lady Finno having fracture in her hip joing was lying here at Takhat  keshgarh Sahib when first notices y SGPC employees. She was not able to care for herself.  The Gurdwara  manager Ranbir singh has deputed the employees of SGPC to look after her before members of Helpline came to her rescue.

The  president of Help Line  Ashoak Kumar Sharma , Secretary Dr.Ravi kumar told on phone that Punjab government should take care of the old lady who is being tortured by her well to do sons. The NGO has also demanded an inquiry into the fate of 'Finno' and give an examplary punishment to her sons.
