CHANDIGARH: Following is the first list of the deceased in stampede in Naina Devi Temple in Himahcal Pardeshon August 3,2008. Most of the victims are from Punjab and Haryana.

 Out of 145 dead bodies 129 have been identified. Out of it, 104 belongs to Punjab, 15 to Haryana and 10 to Himachal Pradesh.  16 bodies are yet to be identified.  The maximum causalities 50, were reported from the Patiala district.

Raj Kumar resident of Malerkotla, Tagan Kumar and Mohit residents of Nabha, Vikram a resident of Rajpura. Gurpreet Kaur and Jaswant Kumar of Gopalpur village near Rajpura, Charanjit, Fazil Ram and neeraj son of Kishan Lal, all residents of Matauli village in Patiala district.

Babbu Singh son of son of Sikandar Singh resident of Sangrur. Gurcharan Singh, Amandeep son of Buta Singh resident of Chikh village near Rampura Phul in Bathinda district,  Sunita wife of Surinder Pal, Honey Sharma son of Surinder Pal, Kuldeep Kaur wife of Darshan Pal, Kanchan Devi wife of Rajinder Kumar, Reeta Rani wife of Suresh Kumar, Kanchan wife of Rajinder Kumar,  all residents of Todarpur village in Samana.

Jaswinder Singh son of Vhand Singh resident of Patto Hira Singh Bathinda, Kiranjit Kaur and Pooja wife and daughter of Jaswinder Singh resident of Bathinda, Maya Devi wife of Mela Singh, Karamjit Kaur wife of Satpal, Lovepreet son of Satpal-all residents of Barnala.
