CHANDIGARH:  Shivalik Public School, Sector 41 will meet Government Senior Secondary School, Sector 43 in the opening match of the Chandigarh State Under-14 Hockey Championship being organised by Chandigarh Hockey Association at the Sector 18 Hockey Stadium here tomorrow at 3 p.m.

Disclosing that nine teams are taking part in the championship, CHA secretary YP Vohra said that the second match on the opening day would be played between St Stephen's School-45 and Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 35 at 4.15 p.m.

  In the third match of the day, Government High School, Sector 44 will meet DAV Senior Secondary School, Sector 8 at 5.30 p.m. The final will be played on August 10. Players born on or after January 1, 1994 are eligible to compete.

Teams taking part in the championship are: 
Rock Rovers, Shivalik Public School - 41, Govt. Sr. S.S – 43, St. Stephen's – 45, Govt. Model Sr. S S – 35, Anne's Hockey Acdmy, Govt. High School – 44, DAV Sr. S S – 8 and Wanderers Club.
