PHAGWARA: Bihar Floods were now creating panic among Bihari migorants residing in Punjab even as large number of migrants from western state are reaching Punjab everyday. Punjab is house for millions of migrant labourers from Bihar and Uttar Pardesh.

Long Queues of Bihari migrants could be easily seen on different PCOs, as bihari migrants were making contacts to their relatives and family members residing in their native state of Bihar. 

It was learnt that several Biharis were insisting their relatives to come to Bihar to help them while their relatives residing in Punjab were offering financial help to them.

When talked one Bihari Migrant  Shanti told  that though her-in-laws residing in Bihar have asked her to come to Bihar for their help, but she had refused to go to Bihar in stead She had sent Rs Five Thousands to them. Another migrant Sanju too told that her parents were also asking her on telephone to come to Bihar, but she has also sent Rs Three Thousands to them.

One Bihari Migrant Hari Lal had also sent an amount of Rs Ten thousands to his family residing in Bihar. He told  that though he had offered his family members residing in Bihar to come to Punjab,but all of them have refused to leave their native places and accepted the financi al aids.
