CHANDIGARH: Mohinder Singh Kay Pee President Punjab Pradesh Congress has condemned the current spate of terror against minority community in Kandhmal district of Orissa resulting in attacks on Missionary Schools and Churches.
 

In a statement issued here today Kay Pee said that the incidents of violence against the minorities are most unfortunate and are damaging for the secular fiber of the Country.

Condemning the criminal utterances of BJP leadership that led to killing of burning of Christians Sh. Kay Pee demanded immediate action against those involved in violence and the asked the Orissa Government to deal with the communal outfits like Bajrang Dal and VHP with tough hand and impose ban on the activities of such people who are responsible for outburst of communal hatred against one particular community. The Pradesh Congress President appealed to the people to maintain amity and communal harmony in spite of provocative attitude of Bhartiya Janta Party and its allies. Sh. Kay Pee further asked the Akali leadership to explain its stand about the violence against minorities in the State ruled by its allies.
