Punjab: Married woman strangulates her lover |

PHAGWARA: In a typical love story, one beloved middle-aged already married woman Banso of nearby village Ramgarh , allegedly strangulated her own young lover identified as Dev Raj (33) of nearby village Garrha sometime between August 27 and September 5, while the dead body of the dev Raj was recovered by Phillaur police from a barren well near Phillaur this evening.
Phillaur DSP Rajinder Singh Sohal told newsmen this evening that on a complaint lodged by Tilak Raj brother of the deceased, police has registered a case under section 302/201/148/149 and 120B of IPC against Banso her son Manga and his four other friends Rakesh, Bolu, Ghudha and Happy on the charges of hatching a conspiracy and murdering of Dev Raj.
Giving details of the crime, DSP shoal disclosed that Carpenter Dev Raj of village Garrha who was a divorcee, was a tenant of Banso in Ramgarh and he fallen in love with the land lady Banso and was enjoying illicit relations with the woman.DSP said that gradually he became possessive and started to watching the movements of his beloved, but he was having bad eyes on her young daughters also which was not acceptable to Banso.She hatched a conspiracy with her son Manga who took the help of his four other friends and abducted Dev Raj on August 27.Meanwhile the relatives of the deceased including his brother Tilak Raj lodged a complaint with Phillaur Police about mysterious missing of Dev Raj.They also expressed their doubts on the family of Banso. DSP said police was investigating the case and recovered the decomposed deadbody of the deceased from the barren well this evening. |
