FATEHGARH SAHIB: Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal while taking to newsmen said that the speaker of Punjab Vidhan Sabha will decide the fate of the former chief minister Capt. Amarinder Singh who has been indicted by a house panel in Amritsar land scam.

He said that the report of privilege committee was just tabled in Vidhan Sabha and it was prerogative of the speaker to decide what will do now. The political observers said that Capt Singh may be expelled from the Vidhan Sabha or Speaker may direct the police to register a case of corruption against Amarinder.

He was commenting when some scribes asked him about the report of privilege committee against Capt. Amarinder Singh in a land deal at Amritsar.

He however criticized the behavior of Congress legislators on Friday in Vidhan Sabha for making unnecessary hue and cry.
