CHANDIGARH: INDIAN NATIONAL LOK DAL (INLD) has severally condemned the brutal firing & killing of protesting women in Rohtak on Sunday.
In a press statement issued here yesterday, INLD secretary general & Rajya Sabha MP, Ajay Singh Chautala demanded chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda's resignation over the inhuman, police cruelty & atrocities on women teachers. Hooda has retained no moral ground to continue to stick to chief minister post, he added. Expressing deep concern over the death of women, Chautala said that this incident has once again exposed the real undemocratic & autocratic face of Hooda government. Chautala demanded registration of criminal cases on the concerned officers responsible for firing on women protestors. He said that Hooda government has long list of atrocities on the democratic & peaceful people movements, be it Gurgaon police atrocities on the labourers, cruel cane charge on labourers at Karnal, on expelled police constables in Rohtak etc. INLD leader said that government has become totally intolerant towards democratic protests and has adopted Hitler tactics to curb the dissenting voice. |
