CHANDIGARH: ARYANS BUSINESS SCHOOL (ABS) on Sunday distributed around 2,000 free examination kits to the North Indian candidates appearing for MAT examination in various centres. These centres include Chandigarh, Ambala, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Hisar etc.
The examination kits comprised of pencils, eraser, sharpener and sweets. Since last year, ABS has been providing necessary stationery items and conveys best wishes to the exam aspirants. On the other hand, Chandigarh was one of the main centres where exam was conducted in Arts Block I, II and Department of Law. Doaba College, Jalandhar; Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School, Ludhiana; Govt Post Graduate College, Hisar and S. A. Jain College, Ambala were the other main test centers of the region. Giving the details of the exam, Anshu Kataria, Chairman, ABS said that the mathematical section was harder than expected while the Data Interpretation section was very time consuming. Reading & Comprehension section was easier than the earlier exams held in May and February. This test is usually conducted 4 times each year in February, May, September and December. It is to be mentioned that MAT has become popular with AICTE approved Institutions & University departments participating in it. Lacs of MBA aspirants are availing AIMA's testing services from the last six years. In 2004, MAT was approved as National Entrance Test by Government of India. |
