CHANDIGARH: Anurag and Jasmeet  were adjudged Mr. and Ms. AIMT respectively while Jaswinder & Nand Kishore were adjudged runners up at "Pallav '08"- a fresher's party held at Aryans Institute of Management & Technology (AIMT) on Sunday.  Anshu Kataria, Chairman AIMT presided over the function. The students of BBA & BCA presented a cultural programme which included solo song, group dance, group song, skits, Bhangra, modeling, mime ad-mad show etc.

The programme commenced with lamp lighting by  Anshu Kataria, followed by Saraswati Vandana. Jagpreet and Sukhbir presented a Punjabi dance while Raj, Hitesh, Vijay, Privesh, Shanky and Tilak presented a hilarious skit. Jasmeet, Varinder and Monika also presented a very entertaining group dance. Mandeep, Narinder, Satwinder & Rahul entertained everybody with their energetic bhangra. Sandeep of BCA presented a solo song. One minute games were the other main attraction of the event. Dr. Parveen Kataria (Principal) gave away the prizes to the winners.

Anshu Kataria said that such events help the students to interact with each other which are beneficial in the future. Such events are a means of bringing forward the talent of students and instill confidence in them. The institute would always welcome such gestures of the students, he added. He also congratulated the winners of the event and wished them good luck.

Concluding the function with an applauding feedback to everyone, Nikhil, stage secretary at the event paid a vote of thanks to the management and the students and added that such functions generate the feeling of performing on stage freely among the students.
