CHANDIGARH: Senior BJP leader and Punjab's Medical Education Minister Tikshan Sud today said that clean chit given by Nanawati Commission to Narendra Modi has exposed the anti-Hindu propaganda of Congress Party.
In a statement issued here today Sud said that high level independent judicial Commission under Justice Nanawati has concluded that incident of burning S-6 coach of Sabarmati Express on February 27, 2002, was a pre-planned conspiracy and not an accident. The first part of the report gave a clean chit to Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi saying there was no evidence of the role of CM and any Gujarat minister in this case. Sud demanded a public apology from UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh for making unsuccessful attempt to defame Mr. Modi, just for short term electoral benefits. The BJP leader said that it was the policy of Congress Party to organize riots to fetch few more votes and to polarize the society whereas BJP gets votes on the plank of development and credibility of its leadership. Sud said that Congress leadership was bewildered facing crushing defeat in ensuing Vidhan Sabha polls and elections to Lok Sabha and was bent upon appeasing anti national elements at the cost of unity and integrity of the country. He said that people of this country has seen through the nefarious game of Congress Party and was out to teach this party a lesson for its failure to safeguard the life and property of common citizens.
