NAWANSHAHR: Over 125 units of blood were collected at the blood donation camp organized on Wednesday at blood donors council to mark the national voluntary blood donation day.

Punjab Health and Family Welfare Minister Prof Laxmi Kanta Chawla who was the chief guest, urged those indulged in shedding human blood by their anti-social activities to seek real solace in saving human lives by donating blood. Chawla evinced a keen interest in the activities of the BDC. DC Nilkanth Avhad, Director, Health, Punjab Dr S.P.S.Sohal, Civil Surgeon Dr C.S.Brar were also present.
