PHAGWARA: In a daring incident two unidentified motorcyclists, broke the window panes of an Antlara car number PB-08-0008 and took away the cash of Rs 4.5 lacs from the car.

At the time of incident, the car owner former sarpanch gurpal singh samra went into the local branch of Capital bank after parking the car in front of  the bank here this afternoon.Samra in his complaint lodged with the local police said that he withdrew the amount from local branch of Punjab national bank and went to Capital bank for some more money.

Phagwara DSP harkamalpreet Singh khakh said the police has registered a case under section 379IPC.Police suspects the hand of a  Moradabad (UP) based gang which struck near banks.

Meanwhile it was learnt the police has succeeded to round up two miscreants,suspected to be involved in this incident this afternoon.It was also reliably learnt that both accused have confessed their involvement of stealing Rs 3.5 Lacs from a car near local CIA staff last month.Police was investigating the matter.
