SGPC to participate in 'Gurta Gadi' function at Hazoor Sahib Print E-mail

FATEHGARH SAHIB: Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee president Avtar Singh Makkar today said that the SGPC would participate in 'Gurta Gadi' function to be held at Hazoor Sahib Nanded Maharastra on October 31 and November 1.

 

Talking to mediapersons after presiding over meeting of managing committee of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering College, Fatehgarh Sahib, Makkar said that Khalsa Sports event

under patronage of SGPC would held at Nanded Sahib.He said that the sports event will be held as a part of the programs to be organized at Hazoor Sahib to mark the third centenary of Gurta Gadi Divas of Sri Guru Granth Sahib.

He said that Punjabi games like Kabbadi, Wrestling, Horse Riding, Gatka and Nezabaji, will be held in this Sports Event. He informed that Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal
will preside over the inaugural function.
